Your life Is Your Value

This morning I sat with God and read Luke 12. Soon after I stopped at verse 6-7, "What is the price of five sparrows...two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So dont be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows." {Luke 12:6-7 NLT}. This spoke to me. I began to pray in gratitude thinking about my life. The mistakes I've made, the achievements and sanity I fought for. But when I began to think about life as a whole, HIS value in me became tangible in that moment.

When we make an investment in something we are investing in long term satisfaction, sustainability, an expected outcome and/or transformation we will achieve. A return of value from the investment. I am thinking...what an investment the Lord have in you and I. How sure the Lord is; in what HE placed in us. He sees you and I coming out on the other side. What absolute assuredness, confidence...He has! I smile thinking that there is no doubt in his infinite mind that in all I will ever go through I am MORE than a conqueror through Him who loved me through it all!

Whoever you are reading this, you also are more than a conqueror through God! Before you came forth into this world He created you valuable! Everything the Lord creates is valuable.

What I went through in life was not to de-value me but for me to see how much YOU value me.

If You had a one hundred dollar bill and dragged it in the mud, have a truck drive over it, kept it outside in all the elements of each season change; will that change the value of that bill? No. You will take the same one hundred dollar bill to any store and purchase something you see as valuable and utilize it however you wish. Your life was bought with a price { 1Cor 6:20 } a high price! An eternal investment was made in you. We struggle with seeing the value within when we didn't lift a finger to earn it. Yes in this world value is connected to having the alphabet next to a name. I will dare to say most of us, me included internalized that system and connected it to our self-worth. That was a conditioning that was taught to us. If we don't have things we are not worthy. If we have not done all the things we will not be chosen.

My mind is shifting away from that narrative within every transition I experience so I want to challenge that narrative in your mind. You are valuable just because! Let that sink in. You are valuable because the Lord said you are!

The life, tortuous beating, crucifixion and death of Jesus was/is the evidence of the high value God sees in you. And guess what, you dont have to worry about this investment depreciating as time goes by. ReClaiming your voice in God will only get better in time!

Be Well.
